No. It can feel like a flick on the skin. I do aim to achieve something called deqi which can feel like a dull ache or tingle. 

Hopefully, you feel better after one! But we recommend 3 or 4 to clear and build a strong foundation for wellness. 

Not many people feel side effects. There could be possible bruising at the site of insertion, or a slight feeling of dizziness but this will pass.

Please wear loose clothing and be comfortable.

Different Insurers have different rules.    I ask for payment from the patient and can give them an invoice to show it has been paid.  Some patients can reclaim on their insurance, but they do need to check with their Insurance company first as to if they are covered and up to how much?
